Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

Living a Heroic Life means living your best life.  Counselling will help you to define what your Heroic Life would look like, and support you on your journey to make that real. For some, it may mean dealing with long standing issues or concerns, for others it may mean addressing a temporary or situational challenge.

Counselling offers you a place to set your goals and then work towards them.  You will find that through counselling, you make significant and sustainable changes. I am an empathetic and supportive therapist, and also challenge and encourage my clients to stretch themselves to do what they need to in order to truly live a Heroic Life.

I have been a Registered Psychologist (Alberta) since 2001. I have  years of experience working with adults, couples and adolescents. I offer positive, change oriented therapy that will help you improve your mental health and well being.  I work with individuals and couples and my particular areas of interest include:

  • Marriage Preparation
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Parenting Issues
  • Separation and Divorce
  • Grief and Bereavement
  • Self Esteem
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Goal Setting and Life Planning
  • Clinical Hypnosis
  • Navigating Life Transitions

I am trained in Narrative Therapy, but incorporate elements of many different Therapeutic orientations, depending on your needs.

I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
